Mugs, plates, bowls, things  we are all familiar with and part of everyday life yet often overlooked. I make pots to be used, to be held and enjoyed. A mug of coffee, a plate of food, a bowl of deliciousness, to share with friends, family and time well spent. I celebrate the marks people make on the world, treasuring the local, the small-scale, the eccentric, the ordinary; whatever is made out of caring.

I strive for an understated minimalist design in both form and glazes and hope my work reflects a calm aesthetic. I wheel throw or hand build all work. Glazes are applied by spray, dip or pour methods, depending on the glaze and desired look of the piece. The glazes I use are made from my own formulas and fired in electric kilns located in my workshop on the outskirts of Vancouver, B.C.

As time goes by I will be adding more images to my gallery, for now it's a peek at some of my current work. Should you have any inquiries please feel free to email me.

Pottery Care: my functional pots are dishwasher and microwave safe (except for lazy susan's). Due to the porcelain nature of the clay I work with oven use is not recommended. Wood spoons, knives and forks need hand washing and drying, then a drop of mineral oil rubbed into the wood to keep them from drying out.
